Visited from New Jersey on race weekend and found this great little family owned and operated restaurant/bar. There were 6 of us so we sampled almost everthing. Great dogs, best burgers and a good selection of beers. Spent 5 hours talking and listening to music. Lots of Fun

I recently visited the "River District" of Shockoe Bottom Richmond and walked next to a delightful place called City Dogs. Being from the north I am very picky about my hot dogs!!! Not only did this place offer a great beer selection, as well as a full bar, but the hot dogs were PHENOMENAL!!!!!! Along with a very family type of feel... this place offers the atmosphere that can suit a quick bite on the run, or a good place to have lunch with a prospective client. I am looking forward to going by at night as soon as possible!! They are open til' 3am on Friday and Saturday night; for anyone who has an appetite for some good food besides late night pizza. I highly recommend this place!!!!!!
