The Virginia Holocaust Museum helps further understanding of the holocaust via interactive exhibits, educational programs and lectures, and areas of quiet reflection and meditation such as the Survivors' Room. Visitors to the museum may walk through a simulated concentration camp, or crawl into a replica of a hiding place that housed 13 people for nine months. It is located in the heart of Richmond in Shockoe Bottom, near the Poe Museum.
Open Mon. - Fri. 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.; Sat. - Sun. 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
