Richmond's Landmark Theatre

6 N Laurel St
Richmond ,VA  23226
(804) 646-4213

Description:

Constructed in 1927, the Landmark Theatre has the distinction of being one of the city of Richmond's more unusual buildings: a pitch-perfect replica of an ornate Muslim Temple. However, the theatre has no religious affiliation; rather, it is largely a performing arts venue that plays host to several large-scale musical and theatrical productions. It's located in the heart of the city, by the southwest corner of Monroe Park. Past performances at the Landmark include "Tony and Tina's Wedding," and "Riverdance."
