Description:

Standing as an example of the glorious Antebellum days of Richmond, the Wilton House Museum was built in the mid-1750s for Williams Randolph III. At the time, the home was at the heart of a sprawling 2,000 acre tobacco plantation owned by the family and today visitors to the historic residence can see some of the rare and valuable items once owned by the family. Significant items include furnishings, ceramics, silver and textiles from the 1700s and 1800s. Located a few miles northwest of Carytown near the Country Club of Virginia, this gorgeous Georgian home is one of the city's finest examples of wealthy living in this period of time.
